 2000 ~ 2026

2000 AQHA Sorrel Stallion 15 Hands / AQHA #4036871
White Lighting Ike x Adobe Lynx
13.28% Driftwood

Sired by White Lighting Ike “Ike” was a dappled buckskin standing just over 15 hands and weighing 1250#. He was one of the last producing sons of Driftwood Ike and established himself as a great sire of the ranch, rodeo and all around performance horses with athleticism, cow sense, sound conformation and great mind. He was an outstanding broodmare sire and almost our entire herd consists of daughters and granddaughters of “Ike”. His legacy continues not only through the mares, but from sons like Blue Light Ike and Shoot Me Ike who have produced outstanding rope horses for many years.

DAM Adobe Lynx  A Granddaughter of AQHA Hall of Fame winner Peppy San Badger.

“Pistol” was a staple in our breeding program for over 20 years. He was a proven producer of talented rope horses, versatile ranch horses and some barrel horses too! His progeny had strong work ethic, good heavy bone and correct conformations.

“Pistol” was peacefully laid to rest Jan 16th at the age of 26. He was born, raised and rode on our ranch before sustaining a serious injury to his foot that would send him to his next career as one of our primary stallions for many years. While siring some of our top performance horses, he also provided us with some of our very best ranch horses. His own key traits continually show in his offspring - they are versatile, have strong work ethics and kind demeanors. The impact he has had on our ranch is significant and will continue to be seen in the generations to come from his lineage. We are so blessed to have had such a quality stallion be a part of our family and our program. RIP Pistol…
